-Association for Childhood Education International
ACEI focus lies in sharing new approaches to the education of children. These approaches are delivered in ways that focus on the child's individual skills and abilities which will in turn provide them opportunities later in life. ACEI participates in global education coalitions, provides reports on global education trends and events, gives access to the latest research, and creates unique programs, events, and publications that help to expand the education field.

ASCD is a global community dedicated to excellence in learning, teaching, and leading. The organization consists of 125,000 members (principals, teachers, professionals, etc.) who work together to provide expert solutions in professional developmentand educational leadership essential to the way educators learn, teach, and lead.
- American Educational Research Association
Founded in 1916, AERA strives to advance knowledge about education through scholarly inquiry and research related to education. The organization promotes the use of research to improve education and serve the public good.
--National Education Association
As the largest professional development organization, NEA is committed to advancing public education. Provided are current issues and topics, tools and ideas to take to the classroom, as well as information on how to apply for various grants in the field.

-National Council of Teachers of English
NCTE's mission revolves around improving the teaching and learning of English and the language arts educators at all levels of education. The stie provides a wealth of professional development opportunities including; but not limited to; lesson plans, the Language Arts Journal, Online learning, books and resources, and more.
-Council for Exceptional Students
CEC is a professional association of educators who are dedicated to success of children with exceptionalities. The association carries out this mission through advocacy for students, standards, and professional development for educators. The site provides all of these elements on top of publications, hot topics, and resources for the special education classroom.
-National Association for Gifted Children
NAGC supports and develops various policies and practices that better educate students with gifts and talents in children from all cultures, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and socioeconomic groups in the classroom. The association supports and provides research for educators as well as staff development, advocacy, and collaboration with other major associations in the field of education.
-National Council for the Social Studies
NCSS has grown to be the largest association in the country devoted solely to social studies education over the years as they strive to engage and support educators in strengthening social studies instruction and advocate for the field. The organization provides social studies educators resources under an umbrella of all areas social studies encompasses; anthropology, archaeology, economics, geography, history, law, philosophy, political science, psychology, religion, and sociology.
-National Science Teachers Association
NSTA is committed to working with other science teaching and education professionals to helps educators value what makes a high-quality science program and how how their science program might compare and relate to research-based best practices. Educators can learn through these resources in order make positive changes to improve science instruction.

Save the Children is dedicated to promoting global education and the rights of children around the world. Save the Children teaches effective teaching strategies to instructors to train them on how to engage students. They also coach parents/caregivers in order to help encourage learning early on, as well as offering ways for parents to encourage learning outside of the classroom

GPE reaches nearly 60 developing countries through a multilateral partnership that includes donor governments, international organizations and teachers. GPE develops strategies, collaboration, and shares varieties of solutions to issues that face educators. Since 2002, GPE has aided in putting 22 million more children in school..

ISTE is a nonprofit organization serving educators and leaders across the world who are committed to learners in a connected world. The organization serves more than 100,000 educational outlets. Their resources include, but are not limited to, professional learning resources, webinars, online courses, consulting services for schools and districts, books, and peer-reviewed journals and publications.

This professional association of thousands of educators and others have created activities directed toward improving instruction through technology. AECT members may be found anywhere from museums, libraries, classrooms, in colleges and universities; etc. The association is committed to creating an engaged learning environment through designing of instruction and a systematic approach to learning
